Colton Clifford was born and raised in Houston, Tx. Currently living and working in New Orleans, La. after receiving his MFA in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art.

“What does it mean to digest and make sacrifices of my identity in front of the camera? What does the viewer understand of the queer body as fetish? To be synched and painted? Objectified? I take interest in exploring tableaux of these realities through deconstruction of the heteronormative and through reconstruction of fantasized domestic landscape where the taboos of queer culture can find euphoria.”
